It wasn't until AFTER I finished the cake that it occurred to me I should have snuck in a few snakes.
This was done the next weekend after my MGS cake, for another fantastic friend of mine. He LOVES Indiana Jones, and the whole party was themed as such. I was lucky to find the toy kit at a local public supplier (I was afraid I had missed the cut-off for the new movie toy cake sets). He was also the one who asked me to do the rainbow/cloud Care Bear cake for his girlfriend. In return, she asked me to do this.
I was mostly pleased with it, although it was clear I had lost my touch with getting icing to be less airy. I blame it on my limited supply of icing, not re-creaming it long enough, as well as my mildy Jewish behavior in trying to conserve it so I wouldn't run out.
I hadn't gotten many pictures before I sent it on it's way, so this is all I have. He was shocked to find out it was me who had done the cake, even though he knew very well I did cakes. (I certainly take that as a compliment!)
Buttercream, Wilton Spray icing (Airbrush, basically), 352S tip for grass, candy rocks, 3 tip for writing, and Indiana Jones toys!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
