I bring you the illusive Solid Snake in (funfetti) cake form.
I like how he turned out, although there's a lot of things I would have fixed if I do this sort of cake over again.
For the record, it was done with that ever-loving Wilton DC Superhero pan ala 1977, which was originally packaged with plastic faces and logos for Batman and Superman. Obviously I didn't have one for this guy, so everything was done by hand.
I don't recall how long it took, probably about 2-3 hours to decorate, but it was hella fun. I hate how the lettering came out, but I had little reference and sort of just went with it. I also will never using Wilton icing colors ever again, because they ended up being goopy and awful. The red is actually red, orange, and purple, and I was so scared it was going to turn a really ugly color, but all in all it came out alright.
Buttercream, Wilton Colors, black piping gel, tips 352S, 10, 18, 17, and custom cut parchment bags.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
